Mission
The Alcott Academy exists to serve young women in becoming
life-long learners and leaders rooted in the ideals of
education,
social justice,
racial justice,
equity among all, and
compassion for their neighbors.
Following the example of Louisa May Alcott, the young women who attend The Alcott Academy are supported in their learning to create a more sustainable and just future for all their neighbors through the practice of love in action in all they do.

Admissions
Academic enrollment opens in the spring of each year for new admissions.
Students must complete an in- person interview, write an admission essay, and complete our online application.
Parents/caregivers must complete an in- person interview prior to student application begins.
Tuition is covered in full for all courses, field trips, and extracurricular activities from the generosity of our benefactors.

15th Anniversary
The Alcott Academy will celebrate our 15th year of excellence on November 29, 2023
on the birthday of our namesake Louise May Alcott
who was born on this day in
“the most disagreeable month of the whole year”
in 1832 in Germantown Pennsylvania.
We will create a day of wonder, celebration, and cheer in honor of
our students, our school, our educators, our benefactors, and our dear Louisa.
